Why does Deakin use cookies?

Deakin uses cookies provide enhanced functionality about your account and shopping cart. For example, when you use the shopping cart, we use cookies to store the information about all the products in your shopping cart.

Can I use the site without cookies?

Yes. All basic functionality of the Deakin website do not require any cookies. You are able to browse and view products, but you cannot add products to your shopping cart nor can you login as a member.

  4. Click OK.
• Netscape:
  1. From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
  2. To update your cookies settings, go to the Privacy & Security section and click Cookies.
  3. Select Enable all cookies.
  4. Click OK.

My browser isn't blocking cookies but your website still shows they are disabled. What's wrong?

If you are sure that your browser is properly configured to accept cookies, you may have software installed that is blocking cookies, or your company may be blocking cookies at their firewall. In these situations it is best if you try using another computer to order from our web store.
